2010 Camaro First Impressions

I saw my first 2010 Camaro in an Avis parking lot and it looked pretty cool. I saw my second 2010 Camaro at theCarowinds Father’s Day car show and it was a silver SS and it was pretty impressive. I did not like that they covered the engine in a plastic shroud like a Mercedes. The Camaro is supposed to be a Muscle Car! The people who want to own a Muscle Car love the engine and want to show it off not hide it under plastic. The other issue I have the new 2010 Camarois that price. I just went to the “Build Your Own” section of the Camaro site and it cost me $44,250 for the Camaro I want. That does not even include all the bogus costs that the dealer will tack on. They took a great idea and priced it right out of reach for the mass market. I can buy a rust free daily driver ‘69 Camaro for less than $20,000 and have the real deal original Holyfield in my garage. Why would I pay more than twice that much for the new one?
